my favorite part is when people call, and Dan says "you're an a**hole." It's astounding....glad you enjoy it!
Other podcasts to check out (completely different in tone & nature, but satisfying):
WNYC's Radio Lab (they take a big concept, like Morality, and investigate it in the most interesting ways they can)
NPR's Tell Me More with Michelle Martin (hour-long news show, Michelle Martin's married to top defense attorney Billy Martin, and she covers stories you wouldn't hear anywhere else. Michael Eric Dyson is a frequent commentator, just to give you an idea of who she has on there)
yes, I can't believe how blunt he is...but i guess it is just like his column. Some of those stories just seem so outlandish. How in the world does someone hook up with an unemployed, recovering alcoholic, crack addict and then have to ask "what should I do?" But I guess that is what they need..that is, Dan to snap them out of the trance that sometimes "love" can put us in. LOVE IT.
Thanks for the other podcasts..i will check them out!!
